Information meant for public will always be shared on the forum. It maybe delayed a bit.
However direct communication with Admins, Sharing of our strategy, developments etc will only be on donor forum. We do not anyways post it on open forums even now.
This initiative is to provide some incentive to members who support IV financially. In a couple of days we are launching another service to IV members that will be a big help. It will always be free for everyone and you will appreciate it. We are working on it these days.
There are some more ideas in the pipeline to even help all IV members. We just have 24 hours in a day, full time jobs and a life of our own. So we are trying to squeeze as much time possible to make this ideas be brought on IV quickly.

Its all politics my dear. Dont take the votes as it is. All these are eyewash and most of it were decided even before they vote. Why you think they have minority and majoirty leader. Those are the key people along with certain key senators / congressmens.
Election is the major event which affects everyone in the senate or congress. First eveyone wants to please their constituents and win and retain their seat. This is the first and foremost priority than passing the SKIL bill at this time. Be practical and I myself will do the same if I were a politician.

I have home loan with Standard Chartered. Got the variable interest loan from them in 2004. One thing I liked is I did not have to goto India for the loan processing!
My brother sent related documents here in US and I signed, got few of those notarised and sent them back. It took about a month for the complete process.
They do charge about Rs. 350 for prepayment though. Otherwise overall I am happy with the service they provided.
I just called the Standard Chartered bank's NY office. The operator told me they don't have anyone to answer any questions regarding home loans as they don't do it. Did you contact Indian office for all your questions or did your brother do all the research and sent you the paperwork? Appreciate your response.

@OP, Yes. You can open LLC and/or S-Corp on EAD. If you plan on working for the same company, I suggest you do it in the name of your significant other if you are (un)lucky like me and married. Also checkout the option of "LLC filing taxes as a S-Corp". Here is link to more details from IRS.

Here is my point. I spend several hours 3-4 hours at least every day looking through the forum posts hoping to find ways i can contribute to efforts. There are several ideas that are generated in the forum. But cannot find out who is leading it. All i am saying is if we can have a listing of initiatives with some names associated. So i can contribute to the ones that i can support. I am not sure if i am asking for too much here. I am not a IT guy. I do not know what it takes to post it in the front page.

Every time we work on a bill we move a step forward. We have come a long way in the past 2 years. Some bills came and went and did not bring us any relief but that should not stop us from working hard when we see the next window of opportunity.

I need info from the experts here. I am thinking of going with interfiling process rather than wait for the USCIS system to identify the case as current. One issue with my case is I-140 attorney (company lawyer) is different from I-485 attorney (outside company). My company attorney has forwarded the copy of I-140 to my I-485 attorney. Is I-140 copy enough or must submit original with the interfiling process ?
The following thread in Immigrationvoice says, lawyer needs to send original I-140 with interfiling process.

He is 100% right. Unless USCIS hire people, our EADs and APs will get delayed. People like me have travel plans in Jan. I do not want to go for Visa stamping. I am concerned.
